Health and Knowledge are the Key to Safety for Hajjis

By Shamim Ali
London, United Kingdom

Hajj is one of the most important and powerful pilgrimages that can be undertaken and is one of the five pillars of Islam.  Every Muslim will aspire to embark on this life defining journey at least once in their lifetime and is an obligation for mature, sane and those with the means to perform.

The Council of British Hajjis (CBHUK) has for over a decade, worked towards delivering high-quality educational and training programmes for prospective pilgrims so that they gain a valuable insight on the pilgrimage and maximise their benefit when in the holy city of Makkah & Madinah.     For the 11th year running, their annual Hajj Seminars (2017)  and Travel Advice & Vaccination Clinic are set to commence across the UK starting in the Capital, London at the landmark London Central Mosque this Saturday.

A multimedia Hajj and Umrah Guide with a practical demonstration will be delivered, in English, by renowned scholars with a Q&A session.

A variety of topics will be covered from Health & Safety to the rites of Hajj & Umrah as well as a pre-Hajj health check in partnership with the MDA (Muslim Doctors Association).

Advice will be given on how to avoid travel fraud and how to perform the rites of Umrah and Hajj.

The Seminar is free to attend and is open to men, women and children aged 8 yrs and above.  Each participant will receive a FREE Hajji goody bag just for attending.
