540 doctors, para-medics to be deputed in Saudi Arabia (Pakistan)

Islamabad—A contingent of 540 doctor, para-medics and ancillary staff selected from Pakistan armed force, federal, provincial governments and health department would be deputed in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve intending pilgrims.

An official of Ministry of Religious Affairs while talking to mediamen that director, deputy director of hajj medical mission have been selected.

He said deployment plan will be chalked out in consultation with director and Hajj medical mission. Procurement process of medicine and vaccine has been finalized. The purchase order has been issued for printing and supply of medical books/slips material.

In order to facilitate the intending pilgrims in performing their rituals in a befitting manner all hajj directorates in Pakistan has launched a comprehensive training programme. The purpose of this training is to provide orientation and awareness of Manasik-e-hajj to the group leaders as well as intending hajj pilgrims at district and tehsil level.
