About the Speakers

Dr Hina J. Shahid 

Dr Hina is a GP in London with a background in public health and medical education.  Her clinical interests are women’s health, paediatrics, and elderly medicine. She chairs the Muslim Doctors Association & Allied Health Professionals CIC.

 

Dr. Mohammed Bu Saad

Dr Bu Saad is a Public Health Physician and Epidemiologist specializing in chronic disease prevention and community health promotion. He holds a Doctor of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh, with a focus on global health, and an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, where he also completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. Dr. Bu Saad is a scientific member of the Saudi Medical Academy for Volunteering (SMAV), contributing to public health advancements and strategies for mass gatherings like Hajj.

 

Dr Mohamed K. El-bayouk 

Dr Mohamed is a medical doctor working in Brighton, U.K.  His medical Hajj experience extends from his time working in the cardiac care unit at Al-Noor specialist hospital in Makkah during the 1445/2024 Hajj season.  In that time, he was part of a team that served hundreds of pilgrims and worked in close proximity with representative medical teams from around the globe.
