MAKKAH – Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah, has ordered officials to produce a comprehensive plan to ensure effective transport for pilgrims to-and-from the Grand Mosque during the Ramadan, Umrah and Haj seasons.
Prince Khaled also directed the Institute of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at Umm Al-Qura University, to study and evaluate the public transport routes currently being used this Ramadan. Dr. Bakri Bin Matouk Asas, the university’s President and institute’s General Supervisor, pointed out that the institute and other bodies are committed to ensuring the best possible services for worshippers.
