Assalamu alaikum,
Yesterday marked the pinnacle of Hajj. Over 2million faithful gathered on the plains of Arafat, dressed in two un-seamed cloth sheets showing humility, equality and brotherhood. Over 1400 years to the day, the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) delivered his farewell sermon (Arabic: خطبة الوداع, Khuṭbatu l-Wadā) which for people of peace is still symbolic and relevant to this day and one to reflect and practice upon. We wish all hajjis (pilgrims) a Hajj Al-Mabroor (an Accepted Hajj).
Today, marks the celebrations of Eid Al-Adha (the festival of sacrifice), and Muslims all around the world will be celebrating over the next 3 days. We wish them all and our sponsors, volunteers, well wishers a blessed Eid Mubarak.
